USF Health's Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida is a nationally ranked medical school. USF Health offers a CAHIIM accredited Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI), as well as a concentration in Healthcare Analytics (MSHI Healthcare Analytics).
To help students looking to enter these fields of study, USF Health also offers a Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics and a SAS Approved Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Analytics. In fact, the first four courses in the graduate certificate programs are also the first four courses of the master’s programs, so the transition is seamless.

The health informatics accreditor of the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for the Master of Science in Health Informatics degree has been affirmed through 2029. *Students must meet all exam eligibility requirements outlined.
†The Clinical Informatics Practice Pathway expires in 2025. Beginning in 2026, the exam will be available only for those physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Clinical Informatics. This subspecialty certifying exam will be given annually throughout this period.
