Developed with the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) and Bisk Amplified, the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine's fully online Health Informatics Microcredential expands access to high-quality informatics education.

This program integrates AMIA’s standards with AI-powered, flexible learning to help professionals strengthen their data and technology expertise and transition into health informatics roles.

The Health Informatics Microcredential also includes learning support from HiTA, an AI-powered teaching assistant designed to guide you through each course. HiTA transforms course materials into a conversational study companion that makes learning clearer, more interactive, and easier to apply.

Unlike traditional static content, HiTA adapts to your pace and learning style, offering step-by-step guidance, immediate feedback, and targeted explanations when you need them most. This creates a low-stakes environment where you can practice new skills, test your understanding, and build confidence before applying concepts in real-world settings.

You’ll complete each course in just four weeks, at your own pace, with personalized support from an AI teaching assistant.
