The USF Health Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida offers a CAHIIM accredited Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) as well as an MSHI Healthcare Analytics, one of the first medical schools to offer these programs online. HEALTH INFORMATICS

From organizational development focused on health IT to informatics terms, systems and standards, you'll acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to manage health information systems, their security and projects that will impact care delivery and coordination.

• The Master of Science in Health Informatics is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM)‡

These certifications may carry education and work experience requirements. Typically, having a graduate degree reduces the work experience requirements.

* Students must meet all exam eligibility requirements outlined.

† The Clinical Informatics Practice Pathway expires in 2025. Beginning in 2026, the exam will be available only for those physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Clinical Informatics. This subspecialty certifying exam will be given annually throughout this period.

‡ The health informatics accreditor of the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
